This course is open to ALL new junior and senior participants seeking to become qualified referees.
Ensure you have completed the online Laws of the Game Certificate & bring this to the Level 4 Course.
This course is only offered to those wishing to join Canterbury Referees Association as a NEW registered member. The total cost will be $490 for juniors under 18 years, or $500 for Seniors 18 years and above. This will need to be paid on Play Football before the course date. Further information will be provided on the payment procedure.
This cost is ALL INCLUSIVE. No levies are charged through the season. The upfront cost includes an Annual Registration, Uniform, and Course fees. Each year thereafter only incurs the Annual Registration fee.

To undertake this training program you must be at least 13 years of age and have successfully passed the online Laws of the Game within the past two years.
This training program is aimed at match officials officiating in junior and youth matches.
The program consists of theory modules, practical sessions and practical mentoring in matches as a referee and assistant referee.
Upon completion of all components referees will be officially qualified as a Level 4 Referee. The qualification is valid for a period of up to 4 years.
Who should do this Course
Anyone who wants to referee 11 v 11 football at a local level. Every referee - even World Cup referees - start from here.
Accreditation is compulsory in accordance with FFA National Registration Regulations.
