The Level 4 Referee Course program's practical emphasis complements the FFA online Laws of the Game Course and is aimed at match officials officiating on community and premier competition football.
The Level 4 Referee program is a combination of classroom sessions and practical mentoring.
Participants must be 13 years of age at the start of the training program; be currently registered with FFA; and have successfully completed the FFA online Laws of the Game course and examination within the last 2 years. A copy of their FFA Laws of the Game Certificate must be provided to the course instructor prior to undertaking the program.
To undertake this training program you must be at least 13 years of age and have successfully passed the online Laws of the Game within the past two years.
This training program is aimed at match officials officiating in junior and youth matches.
The program consists of theory modules, practical sessions and practical mentoring in matches as a referee and assistant referee.
Upon completion of all components referees will be officially qualified as a Level 4 Referee. The qualification is valid for a period of up to 4 years.

The cost to attend this Level 4 Referee Course is $135 (or $125 if paid upfront - see details below). This includes the NNSWF Starter Package, which entitles a participant to the following:

The Starter Package represents a saving of over $100 for juniors who wish to become a match official and over $180 for adults.
A minimum of $35 must be paid upfront to FFNC prior to the course. Participants will then be required to pay future instalments of $25, which will be issued via invoice.
Alternatively, participants can pay $125 in FULL prior to the course (which is a saving of $10 off the total price).
