Football NSW in partnership with Coaching Unlimited and National Indigenous Football Championships (NIFC) are rolling out an ALDI MiniRoos (introductory coaching 5-9 year olds) Coaching Course for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander football leaders. This opportunity is for anyone who wishes to support the development of football in their communities by taking part in a FREE ALDI MiniRoos football coaching accreditation course during NIFC. In addition, this event will involve presentations from experts about health promotion through sport including topics such as mental health, leadership, and nutrition.
South Nowra Football Complex
The 3 hour course is fully practical and encourages the coach to develop practices that are based on FUN. The emphasis is on natural development i.e. learning by PLAYING football. No coaching but organising FUN football exercises is the key to helping players build a love for the game. Another highlight of the course is that the coaches are exposed to basic rules of the game as well as tips and hints on building a football culture in a completely practical setting.
