This course is for current FFA Level 4 referees who would like to like to progress from grassroots football or improve their knowledge of refereeing. Following the theory course, participants need to complete match assessments orgainised by their branch.

To undertake this training program you must be at least 16 years of age and hold a current Level 4 Referee qualifiication.
This training program is aimed at match officials officiating in junior to lower divisions of adult football.
The course consists of 6-8 hours of classroom-based training including Laws of the Game examinations (written responses, multiple choice and video incidents).
This is followed by practical assessments in a minimum of 2 matches (1 as a referee and 1 as an assistant referee).

Accreditation is compulsory in accordance with FFA National Registration Regulations.
