However, if the ‘A’ Licence is the first course you have taken with the FFA or the first course recently, then you need to become familiar with the FFA course content. We recommend that all candidates make sure they are fully familiar with the documents outlined below.

Other InformationAs part of FFA’s strategic plan to improve the quality of experience and outcomes for coaches on the FFA/AFC ‘A’ Licence course, a registration and application process is being implemented (from courses started in 2018 and beyond).

To determine which candidates will be accepted into the limited positions available on the course, you are asked to submit a Football CV as part of your application. Your submission should include the following:

o Current and previous coaching positions held
o Any other relevant experiences in Education and/or Football
o Submission of a video of a recently conducted session (not your assessment) offering insight into how you may have addressed key action plan points outlined in your B Licence Assessment. – This is not mandatory, however may assist you in your application.

Once applications have been received, the following will be considered as key criteria in determining places on course;

o Quality of B Licence Assessment Submission (or subsequent video provided in the Football CV addressing action plan points raised in the assessors B Licence feedback).
o Coaches currently involved in an A/W League club academy, talented player pathway program or Performance Phase NPL/WNPL team.
o Strength and quality of your Football CV (experience), offering evidence of the coaches willingness to seek education or reflect outside of ‘formal’ coach education courses.

Applications will close on the 20th August 2018.

The FFA Coaching Unit will review all applications and notify applicants of their place on the course by the 27th August 2018. Should your application be successful, you will be required to make payment by the 7th September 2018. If payment is not confirmed by this date, your position on course will be automatically removed. Should you be unsuccessful you will be placed on the waiting list if places become available after the final payment cut off.

Further, please disregard the invoice that is automatically generated after registering for this course as this is NOT a valid invoice; it is merely a confirmation of your application to obtain a place on the FFA/AFC 'A' Licence.
If you have any questions, please get in contact with us.

Kind Regards,
Technical Department.
