To undertake this training program you must be at least 13 years of age and have successfully passed the online Laws of the Game within the past two years.
This training program is aimed at match officials officiating in junior and youth matches.
The program consists of theory modules, practical sessions and practical mentoring in matches as a referee and assistant referee.
Upon completion of all components referees will be officially qualified as a Level 4 Referee. The qualification is valid for a period of up to 4 years.

Anyone who wants to referee 11 v 11 football at a local level. Every referee - even World Cup referees - start from here.
Accreditation is compulsory in accordance with FFA National Registration Regulations.

Participants attending this course must completed their online laws of the game certificate and bring a copy to the course instructor on the day of the course Participants should also bring a notebook, pen, drinks, snacks, flags, whistles A copy of your workbook will be sent to you to print and bring to the course. Participants are required to complete unit 1 before attending - this should only take about 10 minutes
